A sweet story in a nice setting, mostly easy listening, just what I wanted as a bedtime story. Basically, it's a typical tale of disappointed love and the inevitable encounter with a soul mate who, despite his tough exterior, turns out to be Prince Charming. However, here and there the book has unexpected depth. For my taste, there was too much "she said - he said" in the text, which annoyed me after a while. But overall I enjoyed it and the narrator has a good voice, which is important to me.
