OK - without wanting to be too critical of a cute story but why do Americans completely refuse to do any research when they write about places outside the US?
London isn't wet - certainly not in September. It has less rainfall than Morocco (that's in north Africa by the way) ffs! It isn't all cobbled streets! There are very, very few in fact. And if you can find a 'thrift store' - not that anyone would know what that is - in Chelsea you're preforming a miracle. Would you find 'thrift does' on the Upper East Side? And bringing a cat - from the US? Is April going to put her fur babies in quarantine for 6 months?
