Gimme a Gangsta

Synopsis

First rule of spinning the block with your ex after two years? Never catch feelings for the bad boy who shattered your heart. Rule number two? Definitely don’t get pregnant. I’ve spent the last couple of years finding adventure in the friendly skies, bouncing from one city to the next without a care in the world. That is until a twist of fate, in the form of some unexpected turbulence, thrusts me right into my ex’s arms while working the first-class cabin. Despite the time gap, Amir Patton still melts my insides like Superman. And after an emergency landing, an overnight layover, and a few drinks at the bar, let’s just say he’s got my legs spread like Nutella on toast. When the sun rises, I know better than to make the same mistake twice. I won’t get involved long term. But when the stick turns pink a few weeks later, the situation escalates to a whole new level of complexity. Being in Amir’s presence has me tipsy on a cocktail of emotions. There’s still so much of me that resents the player he used to be, but our child deserves a father. How long can I keep my heart hidden behind the wall I’ve built, especially when the only weakness I’ve ever had is him?
