This book made me wish for a 'return' button: I kept waiting for the story to actually begin, but gave up by the time I was less than a quarter of the way through. Too disjointed, with little sense of a plot. Once I found out out that the author previously wrote YA fiction, it explained the overall tone. The premise is good; the execution majorly lacking. The book has a lot of good reviews on other sites, so I'd say that if you're a fan of whimsy then you might like it too; if not, give it a miss.
