Holding Down a Cartel King

Synopsis

Learning the family business is a tradition that is old as time. And while for most families those businesses are usually legal enterprises, the Kings are knee-deep in the boardroom, politics, and the streets. Fraternal twins Khalid and Khalia are opposite as night and day. Khalia is the main enforcer for the family, a true gangstress, while Khalid has political aspirations to run for senator and continue to push the family’s drugs to all the high ranking members of the Senate. All that changes when a deadly incident occurs at one of his campaign events. Meanwhile Khalia is content with dropping bodies first and asking questions later, until she crosses paths with someone who makes her second-guess everything. Keon is the hothead of the family. With four kids and just as many baby mamas, he is never without his share of drama. Still he manages to balance it all until a devastating family secret changes everything for him. Kenya is the youngest of the siblings. Fresh out of high school, she was the only one who wasn’t destined for the drug game. But when Khalid is forced to take the backseat, it is left to her to keep their political connects satisfied. Dutchess, the powerful matriarch of the family, craves money and power. Her husband Kelvin would much rather run the lucrative chain of King Funeral Homes and focus on a legitimate empire. Will their differences force them apart? Meet the King family where no secret is safe and too much money is never enough.
