What to expect
He’s drowning in a life shaped for someone else. She never expected one reckless night to change everything.
Walt Sheffield knows exactly how to play the part people expect: tailored suits, polished smiles, and the perfect script for every room he walks into. Yet the practiced charm is suffocating him.
His father’s death brings financial ruin and exile from elite society — and to Walt’s surprise, it feels like freedom. Delivering mail gives him space to breathe, space to think, and far too much time to obsess over the woman who refused to perform for anyone.
Orla Brady is building the career she fought hard to earn. She’s on the cusp of a promotion in an industry that constantly underestimates women, part of a loud family that never minds its business, and absolutely unprepared for the consequences of one reckless night with a stranger in an ill-fitting tux.
Now she’s pregnant… and she can’t even find the slick charmer who turned her world upside down.
Until he shows up as her new mailman.
Then he keeps showing up — because for the first time in his life, Walt is living honestly, and he’s desperate to prove he’s worth her time.
Turns out becoming a real person is terrifying when someone worth loving is watching.
Live Wire is a steamy romantic comedy featuring a surprise pregnancy, explosive chemistry, and the broody Brady family falling hard when they least expect it.
