What to expect
Meet Daisy Dixon. She loves sewing, antiques, and watching murder mysteries. Oh, and plotting to kill her husband.
Meet James Dixon. He's mega-rich, mega-successful, and completely missing a conscience.
On the way back from a party, the Dixons hit a man with their car. There's only one thing for it, and that's to bury him in the grounds of their manor house, Langley Hall. All is going well, until the day that the rain washes up more than it's supposed to... and suddenly, the Dixons are suspects.
As Daisy and James battle it out to be the not-guilty party, Daisy starts working on a plot of her own... after all, it wouldn't be the first time, would it?
All's fair in love and war, especially in this marriage.
Critics Review
-
A dark delight from the very first page. Combining suspense with black humour, Mr and Mrs Dixon Hide a Body is a riveting, unexpected, exploration of a toxic relationship. I adored this book
MARY WATSON
-
Holdich's latest is full of the same dark humour as her first book, Julie Tudor is Not a Psychopath, and readers who enjoy unhinged yet endearing unreliable narrators will enjoy this one
Booklist
-
Deliciously dark. Holdich proves that some marriages are more dangerous than murder in this gloriously twisted thriller
LM CHILTON
-
A comedy of errors in which all the errors lead to murder. It takes the tropes of a domestic thriller and turns them on their head into something hilarious and off-kilter

I absolutely loved it! Murder has no right to be this funny. Imagine Hannibal Lecter as written by Victoria Wood. Perfect for fans of Caroline Kepnes and CJ Skuse

A wild, dark-humored tale . . . Readers will be caught off-guard by a spate of shocking twists . . . This gleefully destabilizing thriller teems with surprises
