Sadly not one of the books that aged well. A hefty dose of sexism ("loose girls") and idk what to call this... a weird version of eugenics? phrenology but with genes instead of physical features? Basically there is a lot of talk of how science esp. psychology finds that some people are just evil and theres nothing you can do about it (#murder genes). All this talk turns out to be a bit of a red herring but it still takes up a considerable part of the novel and I found it rather hard to bear. The only upside is that for once Miss Marple features prominently in this one. Also the narration is fantastic.
