The dialogues in this book are exceptionally wooden - unlike any natural conversations I’ve ever heard. GCSE creative writing level. The plot was mediocre at best.
The narrator had hard job bringing life to a lifeless pancake of a story but just added to the mediocrity of the thing.
Save your time and money and listen to the Thursday Murder Club series - thank me later ;)
