I really enjoyed this audio book. It was a perfect combination of excellent writing and wonderful narration that gradually builds up the tension. I couldn’t stop listening towards the end!

Listened to this book on recommendation from family and friends. It's a tense whodunnit set in a ski chalet where all the guests are trapped by an avalanche. Unfortunately I guessed whodidit quite early on, but it was still tense to hear the events unfold.
Imogen Church was fantastic and she brought the two narrators to life very well. She used silence and pauses expertly to build tension.elleninelle 2022-05-24 -

Edge-of-your-seat story, fantastically read!
One by One strikes the perfect balance of chilling suspense and comedy, as a ludicrous cast of characters find themselves stranded in an avalanche, as somebody begins picking them off, one by one.
The writing is great, both cynical and heartwarming, and Imogen Church brings the characters to life with her fantastic narration. I'm so glad I listened rather than read this book, to benefit from Church's brilliant takes on the characters!megchaplin
