He skilfully weaves together the more or less well-known facts of music history, especially the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the biggest stars of the last 75 years, with Hellborn's story. It's a bit like Forrest Gump, whose story is also told around historical facts. ... But historical events that have nothing to do with music, such as the Second World War or 9/11, also play a major role in the novel. This mixture of historical facts and the Samuel Hieronymus Hellborn woven into them is what makes the story so appealing. What makes the book a page-turner, as they say in the Anglo-Saxon world, is the curiosity about which stars will play a role and how Hollow Skai manages to incorporate his devilish but always likeable protagonist into the story. A must-read for music lovers and fans of historical novels alike!
