Sapphic Sparks, Volume 1

Synopsis

A collection of sixteen unique, spicy stories by and for women who love—and lust after—women.Yarn & Yearning: Two short, neurodivergent girls in a craft store vs. one crucial ball of lesbian-colored yarn in a very high basket. One car running on empty in a snowstorm vs. one distracting audiobook sex scene, and an even more distracting girl in the passenger seat. What could possibly go wrong?Fox Spirit: What if a multi-tailed fox spirit—the East Asian equivalent of a succubus—was sapphic? What if the pleasure shared between women could be a source of magical strength? In this gentle mythological reimagining, a princess runs away with her faithful (and secretly supernatural) bodyguard . . .Mother Superior: There’s a rebellious new nun at the abbey, and she is just begging for punishment. Against all her better judgment, Mother Veronica might have to give it to her . . .…And thirteen more!Written for those listeners who want more of the spicy scenes in their LGBTQIA+ Romance, this collection of erotic shorts portrays a variety of Queer expressions—-femme, butch, lesbian, bisexual, demisexual, polyamorous, neurodivergent—-from earlier adulthood to maturity. It also encompasses a range of tropes and genres: from meet-cutes to yearning friends-to-lovers to established relationships; from realism to fantasy, mythology to historical to sci fi. The common denominator, besides the promise of spice, is a sense of safety: listeners can trust that our characters’ hearts and bodies will be treated with respect and deep admiration.
