Sharpe and Harper fight one last time as the defeated French retreat to Paris.
This time Sharpe has someone to go home to and a reason to not take chances but needs to lead the fighting to finally end the war.
Excellent narration. The book would have been improved by closer editing but for those who’ve been with Sharpe all the way since India this is a fitting epilogue.VRS
