Who killed Holly Kemp?

Shed No Tears is gritty crime at its best. The police team dynamics, banter and relationships are superbly written. Caz Frear has created a flawed but likeable character in Cat Kinsella. I was rooting for her to solve everything, including her own demons . . . This book is definitely one to put on your must read list if you love a police procedural that moves like lightning. Grab it when you can!

This is a series I’ve loved since the very first book – main protagonist Cat Kinsella is so realistic and full of depth that I immediately engaged with her, that has continued through every subsequent instalment and Shed No Tears was no exception . . . another tip top fully immersive crime thriller from the pen of Caz Frear. Not many writers of this creative, talented level are out there so I highly recommend that you read these if you are a fan of all things crime fiction

I adored this book. Seriously. I instantly fell in love with Cat. She is a damaged but brilliant woman . . . Frear is a wonderful writer and a fantastic storyteller. She took me on a thrilling ride that started on the first page and didn’t let up until the last word. Stunning!
Kept me guessing from start to finish. I have loved everything about this book, it has been a great read which I found impossible to put down. I have been completely pulled into this book. I love the author’s writing style and have found this to be a good solid detective mystery book. A superb read by an extremely talented author
This is shaping up to be a must-read series for me as Caz Frear always leaves me wanting more at the end of her DC Cat Kinsella books . . . Caz Frear has continued to develop and improve her craft and has delivered a compelling and intelligent plot for the team here. I was happy that the standard of writing has remained high but also thoroughly entertaining at the same time. Very enjoyable!
