What to expect
Shane Michaels has been a disappointment his whole life—a troublemaker, a screw-up, a lost cause.
On the verge of being expelled, he's sent to Ravens Ridge to live with his father, who is determined to straighten him out. Despite the nightmare that waits for him at home, the town—and the Ravens Ridge Riders—starts to feel a lot like where he belongs. That is, until the pain and torment push him down a dangerous path.
Nik Morrison has never been good at being quiet. Fiery, impulsive, and impossible to control, she's one fight away from throwing away her future when a misunderstood boy crashes into her lonely little world and something begins to shift. Like a moth to a flame, his darkness calls to hers. But he's her best friend's brother and a Ravens Ridge Rider. And he's drowning in demons of his own.
What starts as friendship quickly becomes something much more volatile. As two people make reckless choices in the name of love, they're forced to confront whether they are really capable of saving each other when they're both sinking.
