What to expect
Mallory Sims is late for her first day of work.
An empty gas tank, spilled sweet tea, and syrup stuck to her arm will do that to a girl. She’s convinced the day can’t possibly get any worse.
Then she meets Graham Landry … her new boss.
Custom-fit suit. Black-rimmed glasses. A look so stern her libido doesn’t stand a chance.
The billionaire businessman had every intention of firing his new secretary before she arrived. Unfortunately for him, the frazzled, free-spirited beauty who barrels into his office (and arms) is impossible to dismiss.
They couldn’t be more different if they tried. He thrives on order. She’s the poster child for chaos. He’s grumpy and serious, and she’s sunshine wrapped in candy wrappers and good intentions. It’s a clash of two very different worlds.
So why do they fit together so perfectly?
Graham has spent his life sticking to the plan—one that never included Mallory. And the harder he tries to keep her at arm’s length, the more impossible that becomes.
Maybe he should’ve fired her.
Not for being late.
For stealing his heart.
