What to expect

An enjoyable presentation of some more and less familiar ideas, well written action, good blend of show-and-tell worldbuilding. Some moral grey area questions well posed. The romance occasionally lurches from nuanced to sledgehammer, but the narration rolls with it and it comes across as funny rather than grating. Will be picking up other works by the same author and narrator.
