What to expect
The Tarot talks . . . but is anyone listening?
Returning home from a holiday, Tarot reader Dolly Greene learns that much has changed on her street. Squatters have taken over at No.7 Tinderbox Lane, and a mysterious Brazilian woman has moved in next door at No.3. She also finds a surly Russian girl, Marina, waiting outside the house, insisting on a reading.
Marina's cards reveal conflict, misery and death and Dolly knows she should feel concerned. But the girl is so disagreeable she's only too relieved when the reading finally comes to an end.
She would have preferred to forget about said Russian beauty's malign reading . . . but Marina's cards come back to disturb Dolly and all those around her, until Death once again leaves its calling card on Tinderbox Lane.
Praise for E. V. Harte:
'It's a pleasure to be in the company of Ms Dolly Greene. She's smart, warm-hearted and a touch psychic - perfect qualities for a sleuth' Frances Brody
'This book is a must read for any Tarot enthusiast or indeed, any whodunnit fan' Avril Price, Tarot Consultant and Senior Tutor, College of Psychic Studies
'An assured tone and excellent writing' MyWeekly
'A story that deserves to be described - unusually, in this genre - as rather sweet' Literary Review
'Like returning to my favourite TV series, full of wit and wonderful characters . . . With a fast moving plot driven by Dolly's warmth, charm and psychic aptitude, The Case of the Fool provided surprises right up to the end' Culture Fly
