What to expect
After the death of her parents, Aria Jones is sent to live with her reclusive starlet aunt at the Chateau Marmont, the notorious hotel on Hollywood Boulevard.
Left alone to wander its halls, Aria sees everything - the deals, the desires, the price of fame. But the Marmont isn't meant for young girls with big hearts, and Aria uncovers an insidious secret that will haunt her childhood.
As she grows up, she finds solace in the hotel's library, determined to remain invisible. Until one day, the hotel is sold to mysterious rock star Theo Winchester and his troubled daughter, Adele. When their paths cross suddenly, staying hidden is no longer an option. But will Aria realise there's more to life than watching from the shadows?
A sweeping, seductive story set inside Hollywood's most notorious hotel - where everyone is hiding something. Perfect for fans of Taylor Jenkins Reid and Elizabeth Gilbert.
