4.5 ⭐️ This was a gripping, tense domestic thriller! Lauren Wingfield arrives at Queen Mary University of London to pick her daughter up for the Christmas holidays, only to find she has disappeared, and hasn’t been there for weeks. The police do not see her disappearance as high risk, so Lauren starts investigating herself, taking her down a dark and complex route. 
This was my second TM Logan book (first one was Trust Me), and I loved this! The tension built up nicely and was paced well to keep me guessing, throwing in little twists to keep the stakes high until the final chapter. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend this book. It only just misses out on 5 stars because some bits felt slightly lucky for the characters/not realistic, but it didn’t take away my enjoyment of it!

Another great story from T.M Logan, with excellent narration from Louise Brealey. These books have a similar twisty tension to Lisa Jewell.

Excellent stuff. A little bit drawn out in the descriptions of the mother's feelings from time to time but it doesn't detract from the story. A good, exciting story, well thought out. Excellent narrator. Nice clear voice.
