I need not talk about the book, we all know it's a masterpiece. The narration is outstanding! Andy Serkis manages to give a unique voice and accent to so many of the characters, and he clearly pays hommage to this colleagues from the movies.

Good narration although I would have preferred the songs to be just read like poems rather than sung… Andy Serkis does a great jobs at doing the various voices and the reading is very “acted” which is great. But I almost stopped listening during the Tom Bombadil chapters!

Was very excited to listen to an old favourite narrated by Andy Serkis and this did not disappoint! Whether you're new to the trilogy or a die hard fan, you should give this version a listen. Serkis' narration is brilliant and he even sings the songs! Thoroughly enjoyed listening while driving cross country.
