What to expect

The magic of Life Spark was lost in Elderon when the First Age came to a bitter close. In the dawn of the Second Age, King Gael of Arronhall faces a kingdom on the brink of collapse, haunted by whispers of shadow riders and the stirring of an ancient threat—the Turned, once-human souls twisted into something dark and monstrous. As King Gael battles to unite his fractured land, his every move is shadowed by growing chaos and old rivalries that threaten to tear his family apart.
Far from the throne, in the quiet corners of the realm, Thario—a farm boy content with books and the simple life—stumbles upon a long-buried secret tied to the lost magic of Life Spark, the force that once brought balance to the world. With war looming and the Turned rising once more, Thario’s discovery may be the key to restoring peace… or the spark that ignites Elderon’s final downfall.
As danger closes in from every side, bonds of family and friendship fray, old alliances crack, and new heroes must rise to face the darkness. The fate of the Second Age will be decided in a battle where magic, ambition, and betrayal entwine—and the choices of a few will reshape the future of Elderon forever.

No no no do not sing in audiobooks
I know I am far from alone in detesting music during an audiobook. Also multiple readers. Somehow one voice all the way through a novel and a complete absence of.muaic is far more comfortable. I love music, I play all of my dozen instruments but like millions, I prefer music and someone reading a book to me to be entirely separate. And some help with where to put commas would be good too.

I enjoyed this despite a few slightly puzzling lapses in language register (generally a mediaeval-sounding, highish register and then techno-speak such as u201con replayu201d in between felt a bit weird) and a couple of reading errors by the otherwise very pleasant narrator. It will be interesting to see how this venture evolves, thoughu2026

Honestly this is awful, the story line is thin and uninteresting. The made no connection with any of the characters who were dull anyway. The narration was annoying to say the least, but I received the book for zero cost and I can only suppose it was to see if there was going to be interest out there, well Definitely not from me.ud83dude22ud83dude22ud83dude22ud83dude22ud83dude22
