Synopsis
In the ancient city of Koran-tor, Krispinus is crowned God-King, a title earned by sealing the Gates of Hell. Alongside his wife, the powerful Suma Mageia, he establishes the Pentacle Keep-a permanent garrison sworn to guard the portal. But the King's throne rests on a foundation of secrets; he answers to Ambrosius, a puppet master with a mysterious contingency plan. Twenty-nine years later, the peace is fracturing. On the blood-soaked Hurangar Strip, a wounded deserter named Baldur is rescued by Od-lanor, an enigmatic traveler who lures him toward the Free Cities of Tolgar-and-Kol. Within those same city walls, Ambrosius resurfaces. He liberates a disgraced captain and a master locksmith for a clandestine mission... The sealed gates of hell cast a long, menacing shadow over a world on the brink of upheaval. Discover the first volume of The Legends of Balduria trilogy. Original cover design by Julio Zartos.
