One of my 2023 new year pledges included reading books I would normally never read - and I certainly wasn’t disappointed with this one. Difficult to describe but after the scene setting and character descriptions the author gave vent to his clever silly humor and we were off into a great story in funny land. Of course I naturally assumed the ending but I was wrong, another nice surprise. I think I’m ready to read something similar, great result.
