Throughout the text, the author is sincerely encouraging and sternly oriented on first principles: “As you move forward on your personal journey to wealth, you will start by mastering the basics,” he writes. “They’re not very hard to do, but they must be done.” Gaining control over your spending, he flatly asserts, is a “non-negotiable” factor in achieving wealth, and this and other non-negotiables serve as a firm framework upon which readers can build sound financial practices, giving them much greater freedom and flexibility.
