The Roman Catholic Audio Bible Complete 1 of 2

Synopsis

Renowned for his hugely popular narration of the King James Bible, Christopher Glyn now brings his considerable inspirational talents to a unique new audiobook of the Complete Catholic Bible in 3 parts. And it's not just Christopher's voice that will be familiar to listeners – because this recording comprises his complete reading of KJV with the addition of the deuterocanonical books of Tobit, Judith, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, Wisdom (Ecclesiasticus), Sirach, and Baruch as well as additions to the books of Esther and Daniel to make the original full complement of 77 books. For those who aren't familiar with the distinction, the additional works are those recognized by the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Oriental Orthodox Churches as being part of scripture. Protestants, on the other hand, do not regard them as being divinely inspired, but do recognize them as important books to read. Who better, then, to bring all these words of God to life than Christopher Glyn! Drawing on a thirty-five-year career as a Christian broadcaster and narrator, he delivers these stories in a uniquely expressive style that is filled with wonder at the beauty and power of God's Word, yet which is clear, natural and easy to understand. Praise for Christopher's reading of the King James Bible: '…a rich listening experience. I'd recommend it enthusiastically to anyone looking for a fuller inspirational experience.' 'Beautiful to listen to! Also comforting. It draws you closer to God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. God bless the publisher and the narrator who reads it so harmonically. Many thanks in Jesus name!!!' 'This a brilliant book to listen to. Even if you are not religious. you will enjoy it. I would recommend it to all.'
