And when all two hundred corpses disappear from various morgues around the city on the same night, things very rapidly get worse. Soon Eph and a small band of helpers will find themselves battling to protect not only their own loved ones, but the whole city, against an ancient threat to humanity.

I really enjoyed this book, quite possibly because it isn't the usual type of vampire storyline. Thankfully there's no handsome rich hero who is bearing the curse of being a vampire, or thinly disguised love story. it's part one of a trilogy and gained my interest enough to buy the other 2 audiobooks. This sets the scene very well and is fast paced .
