An excellent portmanteau novel. It’s an ultra modern take on the haunted house story while each tale mixes in different subgenre flavours from techno-fear and shifting architecture to creepy kids and beyond, all building to a joined up climax that’s pleasingly violent and gross.
This is an astonishing debut from Jonathan Sims. A wonderful new twist on an age-old genre. 5 out of 5.
