Or will he manage to overcome the virtue Amma insists on inspiring and instead cut it out at the heart?

I had never heard of this author but was recommended this book by a friend.
This dark rom-com fantasy is honestly one of my favourite books of the year.
Loved the immersive world building and really felt that dual Narration made the banter more enjoyable and added so much to the two main characters Damian and Amma.
It has been ages that a Rom-Com has really balanced the romance and the humour but the author does both so well. The two main characters barely kiss but the tension is intense.
Loved this book and have already bought book 2 and 3 on the app
