Synopsis
Niki Daly has won the Children's Literature Choice and Parents' Choice Silver Awards for her delightful stories. In Welcome to Zanzibar Road, Mama Jumbo the elephant walks down Zanzibar Road on a hot day in Africa. She decides this is the perfect place for her new home. There are plenty of new friends to meet, and all her neighbors pitch in to help her build her house. But who will she share it with? Maybe Little Chico will come live with her! "South African culture flows joyfully in the vibrant tale that's sure to be a hit ..." -School Library Journal
