The British Book Awards 2025, also known as the Nibbies, have announced their star-studded panel of judges, and we are thrilled to share that xigxag co-founder & CEO Kelli Fairbrother will be among them, judging the Audiobook Non-Fiction category!
What Are the British Book Awards?
Celebrating their 35th anniversary, the British Book Awards are the definitive celebration of the UK and Ireland’s most beloved books, authors, and publishing professionals. Organised by The Bookseller, the awards recognise excellence across 13 Book of the Year categories, including Fiction, Crime & Thriller, Children’s Fiction, Debut Fiction, and Audiobooks.
The Audiobook categories spotlight the best in storytelling and production, celebrating the immersive experience that audiobooks bring to readers. As co-founder of xigxag, the UK’s leading independent audiobook platform transforming the way we listen and read, Kelli brings her deep expertise and passion for audiobooks to this prestigious panel.

When Will the Winners Be Announced?
The British Book Awards 2025 ceremony will take place in London on Monday, May 12, 2025. Winners will be revealed in person and online, bringing together the book industry to celebrate its achievements over the past year.
