A Step By Step Guide
Just listened to something you loved and want to share it with a friend? xigxag makes it so easy to send your favourite audiobooks as gifts – on the web and in the app.
Follow these simple steps to make someone’s day:
Step 1: Find Your Perfect Gift
Browse our collection of thousands of titles on the xigxag website. Once you’ve found the ideal book, click on the book’s cover to go to that book’s info page.
Step 2: Choose the “Gift” Option
On the book info page, click the “Send as a gift” button, which you can find just under the Buy Now button.
Step 3: Enter the recipient’s details and a gift message
Enter the email address of the person you’d like to receive the audiobook.
If the person is an existing user, please ask for the email they used to registered with xigxag.
If they’re not an existing user, no worries. We’ll ask them to register with the email you entered.
Click Continue.
Step 4: Name the date and the sender
Select the date on which you want the gift to be delivered. Choosing today’s date will send immediately.
Don’t forget to include your name so we can let the recipient know who to thank!
Click Continue.
Step 5: Review all the details
Please double check to make sure we have all the details correct.
Click Continue.
Step 6: Enter your payment details
Select your desired payment method. Please note, we’re cannot allow National Book Tokens to be redeemed on gifts.
Enter your payment details and check the order details one last time.
Click Buy now to confirm your purchase.
Step 7: Leave it with us!
We will process your purchase securely online and we’ll send you through a gift confirmation email. In that email, you’ll also be able to review the instructional note we send to your recipient. If you don’t see it at first, please check your spam folder. You can always forward them the note if the user doesn’t receive it (belt and braces).
The instructional note will explain to the recipient how to download the xigxag app, create a profile, and redeem their gift. Easy peasy!
For xigxag users, they’ll get the email and see their book in the app immediately. It’s the perfect, hassle-free way to share the joy of reading and listening.
