Andrew Cartmel

Andrew Cartmel is a British author, screenwriter, and script editor best known for his work as script editor on Doctor Who during the late 1980s. He has since written numerous Doctor Who novels and original fiction. Ashram Assassin is part of his Vinyl Detective series — a mystery series featuring a protagonist who hunts for rare vinyl records and keeps stumbling into murder investigations. The series combines music, mystery, and dry wit. His audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers witty, music-obsessed mystery fiction — detective stories for anyone who loves vinyl, crime, and a perfectly dry sense of humour.
