George Macdonald

George MacDonald (1824–1905) was a Scottish author, poet and Christian minister whose fantasy novels profoundly influenced C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and the entire genre of modern fantasy literature. His fairy tale The Day Boy and the Night Girl is a beautiful, allegorical story about two children — one raised in daylight, one in darkness — who must learn to understand each other's world. The audiobook is a lovely listen for fans of classic fantasy and fairy tales.
