Michael Collins

Michael Collins was an American astronaut, test pilot, and author who served as the command module pilot on the Apollo 11 mission in 1969, orbiting the Moon alone while Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin made the first lunar landing. His memoir, Carrying the Fire, is widely regarded as one of the finest astronaut autobiographies ever written, capturing the wonder, danger, and profound isolation of spaceflight with literary grace and quiet humility. Collins passed away in 2021. His audiobook offers listeners an unforgettable first-person account of humanity's greatest adventure from one of the men who made it possible.
