While stuck on a hospital bed this book and reading has been my salvation. Too groggy to focus, the narration has taken me into the scenes and has been the ideal rescue package. It carried me from Interupted nights, and with the support of headphones, I was indeed transported as a bystander to horrific places and became a party to the proceedings, sometimes as an unwilling participant. The pain was indeed all too real but with a new reason.
