From the center of our solar system – the sun - to distant planets, there is always something new to discover. As Lina and Sam explore the wonders of the solar system, they also learn that before we can venture out into the vastness of space, it is crucial that we work to protect and preserve the earth, our home. Lina and Sam learn that it is our responsibility to ensure that our planet remains healthy and sustainable for future generations. This message of environmental responsibility is woven throughout the book, reminding young readers of the importance of taking care of the earth before we embark on the exciting journey of space exploration. We hope that this book will inspire a sense of curiosity and wonder about the universe, while also promoting a sense of stewardship for the planet we call home.
