I did enjoy this book as some easy reading, but it wasn't always very engaging. The descriptions of things were very pretty, but I felt the characters were quite flat and I didn't feel very strongly about anything that happened. Overall still a pleasant read.

I found also the narration a bit grating at times - the volume of the speaker would change a lot e.g. jumping between shouting and then whispering at times for the inner thoughts at times was actually quite jarring and distracting.
