What to expect
Don't miss this hilarious forced proximity, enemies to lovers rom-com from million-copy bestselling author Portia MacIntosh!
In reality it was a business trip, dressed up as a romantic mini break, but the man behind the wheel was meant to be Candice Hart’s boss (and secret boyfriend). Not Danny the new guy.
Not only does Candice have to navigate the cramped quarters of Danny's 'fully' restored VW Beetle, but she also has to contend with his relentless enthusiasm for sharing his thoughts on everything from her career to her love life.
As the journey turns into a chaotic adventure full of unexpected twists, Candice starts to realise that she might actually be enjoying herself with Danny more than she ever expected. Is it time to stop playing it safe and show the world the real Candice Hart?
