What to expect
In order to claim her inheritance, she has to become a nanny?
Clare Randall is thrilled to receive a bequest from her great-aunt. With her bank account on fumes since tragedy upended her life, a cash infusion is just what she needs. But she’s not as thrilled about the strings attached to her legacy. In order to claim her inheritance, she has to work as a nanny for six months for Dr. Adam Wright—a widower she’s never met who lives more than a thousand miles away. What was Aunt Jo thinking?
Adam is equally shocked when Clare reaches out to him with her odd story. Yet cautious as he is about letting a stranger into his life, he does need help with his truculent and uncooperative eleven-year-old daughter. And maybe, with her teaching credentials, Jo’s great-niece will be able to smooth out the waters between him and his daughter … and help him learn a few lessons about love along the way.
In this HOLT Medallion finalist, bestselling and award-winning author Irene Hannon takes readers on another heartwarming journey filled with hope and happy endings.
“A beautifully written love story filled with faith and blessings for both the characters and the reader.”—RT Book Reviews on Gift from the Heart
