What to expect
The inheritance is great. The strings? Not so much.
Of course Morgan Williams is grateful to her great-aunt for bequeathing her half ownership in a seaside cottage in Maine—but there’s a catch. To claim it, she has to spend four weeks onsite. That’s a tall order for an advertising professional who rarely takes off four days, let alone four weeks. As for the other stipulation … that she volunteer for a camp for troubled kids run by her co-heir … what is that all about?
Grant Kincaid is equally baffled by the stipulations attached to Jo’s legacy. Why would his old friend sic her workaholic great-niece on him? Surely she knew that after all he’d been through, he’d have little patience with people whose priorities were messed up.
When a sudden reversal of fortune leaves Morgan adrift, however, spending time in Maine is no longer a burden but a godsend. And as she and Grant work together to support the camp that’s dear to his heart, might they both discover a different legacy than either expected?
In this RT Book Reviews Reviewer’s Choice Award finalist, bestselling and award-winning author Irene Hannon creates another compelling story that will leave readers with a smile on their face and hope in their hearts.
“Absolutely stellar. Unique characters exude warmth, and the ending will leave readers with tears of joy.”—RT Book Reviews on The Unexpected Gift
