What to expect
When Roxy moves from Hull to Denver, she expects the summer before she heads to university to be uneventful. But as fate would have it, she bumps into the beautiful Zain, who's been in her recurring nightmare. Each time, they're burning at the stake. In real life, she witnesses him snapping the neck of a man and quickly learns that not only do jinn exist, but angels, too.
Meeting Zain triggers new nightmares, ones that come with a warning: If Roxy and Zain don't ignore the attraction between them, there will be hell to pay. And upon learning that their souls have been entwined for centuries, they must decide whether their connection in this lifetime is worth fighting for, especially against the divine forces that forbid them from being together.
'I loved the intricate world built on Iranian mythology, and I'd read a million more volumes. An unforgettable, devastatingly written, oh-so-satisfying romance' Alexene Farol Follmuth, New York Times bestselling author of Twelfth Knight

Heavensent and Hellbent is a pacy and thrilling YA romantasy that spans generations, crosses continents, and breaks boundaries. Sara Jafari delivers an epic love story full of heart, danger, and unforgettable characters - the kind of book that pulls you in completely and keeps you turning pages long past your bedtime. And if Zain, the beautiful male protagonist, is based on a real person - I'm first in line to meet him!

Atmospheric, romantic and reminiscent of everything I loved about paranormal romances in the early 2000's. Nostalgic and simultaneously inventive, Jafari gives readers all that we've been missing since the days of Twilight, Mortal Instruments and Vampire Academy. Get ready for the hoa hoa hoa hoa era of paranormal romance to return!

An entrancing modern fairytale of star-crossed love, mysterious family secrets, and imaginative, otherworldly warfare. I loved the intricate world built on Iranian mythology, and I'd read a million more volumes of Roxana and Zain's past lives. An unforgettable, devastatingly written, oh-so-satisfying romance

An unputdownable, spellbinding blend of romance, myth and destiny. Drawing beautifully from Persian culture and mythology, this story weaves angels and jinn into a world that feels both ancient and breathtakingly alive. Tender, atmospheric and impossible to put down, this is a story that reminds us love can cross even the boundaries of time and estrangement.
