Ad a frequent visitor to Manchester and Salford I found this fascinating and informative. Marrird to a Manc I found it frustrating. The reader was OK but too many mispronunciations drove me mad. My husband said he'd never heard anyone speak like that either, a slightly London sounding voice, despite origins. But all said,interesting.
