Critics Review
-
Classic Keyes: owl-wise, oven-warm and very funny. Fabulous
The Times, Summer Reads 2024
-
Keyes is a powerhouse. My Favourite Mistake is not just a fizzy romantic comedy, but also a piece of social commentary. Her protagonist’s voice is crystal cut with observations about gentrification, sexism and an economic system that tells women they are nothing without expensive serums and Peloton machines
The Sunday Times
-
What heaven . . . wish it could go on forever
Nigella Lawson
-
Warmhearted and deftly plotted page-turner. A celebration of kindness: that of family and friends
Sunday Telegraph

You are all in for a treat. My Favourite Mistake is by turns hilarious and heart-breaking, with a very satisfying mystery at the heart of it too

The biggest treat. I've laughed, I've blushed and I've cried. How does Marian do it? Just a beautiful, hopeful story
