A fascinating insight into all the different forces that compelled Navalny to fight for a happy Russia - his childhood, his mixed Russian - Ukrainian family, Chernobyl, university, his legal background and ability to follow the dirty money.

This is really well done, and obviously a bit heavy at the end as he writes from a Kafkaesque prison system with all the consciousness that he might never leave.

It’s also an excellent exploration of asceticism, bravery, and self sacrifice for a cause. Highly recommend.
