Critics Review
-
Ira Levin's most inventive plot since Rosemary's Baby. Extremely clever, consisting of familiar Levin themes - biological engineering, the rebirth of the devil and human automation
New York Times
-
Unputdownable novel about a plan to create the Fourth Reich. A clever and chilling vision of biological engineering
Woman & Home
-
Levin was the master of the high-concept thriller. Here, he fuses together two of the major concerns of his era - Nazi war criminals at large in Latin America, and the emerging science of cloning - to concoct a ripping yarn
