Once a 90-year-old woman and now a nine-year-old girl, Emma, her old dog Rusty, and her lifelong best friend, George, were transported to their youth by the same purple potion that Mr. Musk meddled with. Puppy Rusty serves as the award-winning series’ narrator. Now Emma, George, Rusty and Mr. Musk all live with the Goldhearts, a loving foster family in the wilds of Suffolk, England, countryside. When some of Emma’s magic potion accidentally gets dabbed on some of her young friends, you won’t believe what happens next. Then when one boy in their friend circle is badly hurt and is hospitalized, Emma faces a big decision. What will she do to save a friend?
This heartfelt story bridges the gap between old and young while entertaining and delivering moving messages about creating family of the heart, having empathy, and caring for others.
