I really enjoyed the narrators voice in this, it seemed to suit the character completely. Also, there are a number of Books coming out recently with 1st person narratives, and it surprises me every time how much i enjoy them.
This is a gentle, not hugely exciting read, but I loved it, nonetheless. It appears that getting inside a person's head is my favourite literary trope - who knew?!ClareR 2026-04-01
