Within The Gates

Synopsis

In this glorious vision of heaven, first published in 1898, Rebecca Springer shares detailed descriptions of life in heaven as she experienced it, the celestial homes, the river of life, the joyful reunions with loved ones and much, much more. With his dramatic and flowing narration, Christopher Glyn, does a superb job of bringing the extreme beauty of heaven alive to the imagination of the modern listener. Rebecca Springer was inspired to write Within the Gates, originally titled Intra Muros, when she became seriously ill. She recalled, "The pages of this little volume contain no fancy sketch, written to while away an idle hour; but are the true, though greatly condensed, record of an experience during days when life hung in the balance between Time and Eternity." Within the Gates is a timeless treasure that will inspire you with anticipation and excitement about a future heavenly home and reunion with family and loved ones gone on before.
