A classic mystery read by an A-list actor could be expected to be good, but this exceeded already high expectations with Branagh's deeply sympathetic portrayal of all the many characters. Mega points also to actor and director for investing the text with so much energy, vs the trend of audiobooks to hold back least they wake someone up.
